UPDATED NUMBERS: Statewide cases at 5,807 with 177 deaths

According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, there were 140 new positive cases of COVID-19 reported Monday with one new death. That brings the total number of cases in Missouri to 5,807 with 177 deaths.

Locally, Butler County saw the only increase from Sunday’s to Monday’s reports with one additional case, bringing its case total to 24.

Scott County’s and Perry County’s total cases were each one case lower on Monday’s report compared to Sunday’s report. No explanation was given for the decrease. Scott County has a total of 50 cases while Perry County has 38.
