Sikeston pedestrian struck by vehicle, receives minor injuries

SIKESTON — A Sikeston pedestrian received minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle late Thursday in Scott County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 9:03 p.m., the vehicle driven by Barbara E. Landers, 58, of Canalou, was traveling southbound on State Highway BB, half a mile north of State Highway 114, when the vehicle struck a pedestrian in the roadway.

The pedestrian, Eddie W. Taylor, 73, of Sikeston sustained minor injures and was transported by ambulance to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
