Lloyd Knuckles

SIKESTON — Lloyd Knuckles, 76, died May 14, 2020, at Delta South Nursing and Rehabilitation in Sikeston.

Born Aug. 7, 1943, in Sikeston, son of the late Herschel and Stella Downs Knuckles, he was a member of Apostolic Promise in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and worked in farming, hotel management and maintenance at Wal-Mart before retiring.

Survivors include: one son, Kurt Knuckles of Sikeston; one daughter, Leah (Steve) Kleffer of Essex, Missouri; two brothers, Ron Knuckles and Rick Knuckles of Sikeston; one sister, Donna Mallott of Kennett, Missouri; and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Arcel Knuckles; and two sisters, Arlene Kirby and Carolyn Moore.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m. Sunday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. Steve Kleffer, pastor of Crusade Center in Dexter, Missouri, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be: Keller Fralick, Rafael Salas, John Mallott, Ryan Knuckles, Lannie Moore and Chris Glaus.
