Leland Mallett
MALDEN, Mo. — Leland Mallett, 83, died May 15, 2020, at his home in Malden.
Born July 2, 1936, in Mallett Town, Arkansas, son of the late Elmer Mallett and Mildred Bizzell Mallett, he was a farmer and a truck driver. He was a member of the Spoonerville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
On March 23, 1957, he married Shirley Barks, who survives of the home in Malden.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Tommy Glenn and Kathy Mallett of Gulfport, Mississippi; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Danny Kasinger of Malden; four sisters, Earline Ligons, Elsie Rasco, Twila Miller and his twin Lillian Dock; one brother,
Terry Mallettand five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Kevin Dale Mallett.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden, where services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Paul Starnes officiating.
Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
