EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Margie Marie Miller, 82, died May 22, 2020, at her daughter’s home in Topeka, Kan.
Born Dec. 31, 1937, in Dorena, Mo., daughter of the late Morris and Ethal Caperton Wolford, she had retired from Mississippi County Savings and Loan. She was a member of First Church of God in East Prairie.
On Sept. 21, 1953, in Corinth, Miss., she married George Miller; he preceded her in death on March 17, 2013.
Survivors include: two daughters and one son-in-law, Vicky and Charles Byassee of East Prairie and Dymisha Pritchett of Topeka; two brothers, Logan Elmo Wolford of East Prairie and Kenneth Morris Wolford of Benton; one sister, Barbara Joyce Hensen of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Vernon Dell Pritchett; one sister, Robbie Faye Wright; and one infant brother.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie with Dawn Walters officiating.
Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Cole Byassee, Vernon Lee Pritchett, Chris Sutton, Rafe Byassee, Braxton Moore and Stanley Smith.
