Charles Dennison

SIKESTON — Charles Dennison, 82, formerly of Chaffee, Mo., died June 14, 2020, at Hunter Acres Care Center in Sikeston.

Born Dec. 14, 1937, in Portageville, Mo., son of the late Charles “C.B.” Dennison and Letha Joiner Dennison, he was a former production manager with Tyson Foods Inc. in Dexter, Mo., for many years.

In 1954 in Chaffee, he married JoAnn McClain, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include: five sons, Gary Dennison and Terry Dennison of Troy, Mo., Larry Dennison of Mexico, Mo., Robert Dennison and Paul Dennison of St. Louis, Mo.; one daughter, Tonya Morefield of Portageville; and seveal grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Brad Dennison; and one sister, Faith Dennison.

Gravesides services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Callum Reavey officiating.
