Lenora Goza
SIKESTON — Lenora Goza, 82, died June 19, 2020, at the Cotton Point Living Center in Matthews, Mo.
Born Sept. 4, 1937, in Haleyville, Ala., daughter of the late George and Daisy Burnett-Byrd, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston. She was a housewife and assistant inn keeper at the Holiday Inn in Sikeston for many years.
Survivors include: one daughter, Teresa Wyatt of Jackson, Mo.; one brother, Leetis Byrd of Bertrand, Mo.; one sister, Willie Mae Young of New Madrid, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
In February 1984, she married Hutson L. Goza, who preceded her in death.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara Jones and Cheryl Tuttle; one son-in-law, Tracy Wyatt; three brothers, Robert, Matt and George Byrd; and one sister, Lucille Taylor.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. Jennifer Moxley of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
