ARNOLD, Mo. - Mary Edith 'Polly' Davis, 86, formerly of East Prairie, Missouri, died July 23, 2020, at her granddaughter’s home in Barnhart, Missouri.
Born on Nov. 13, 1933, in East Prairie, daughter of the late Sam and Mildred Johnson Organ.
She was married to Jessie Davis, who preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 2004.
Survivors include: two sons, Jeff Davis of Barnhart and Carl Davis of New Madrid, Missouri; one daughter, Mildred Wright of Arnold, Missouri; five brothers, Fred Organ of East Prairie, Louie Organ of St. Louis, Missouri, Whitson Organ of Champaign, Illinois, James Organ of Chickasaw, Oklahoma and Larry Organ of Sikeston; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, John Davis, Clarence Davis, Ray Davis and Samuel 'Bo' Davis; three brothers, Charles Organ, Samuel Organ and Marvin Organ; and one sister, Norma Jean Organ.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery at Dogwood, Missouri.
