Paulette Burney
EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Monica Paulette Parr Burney, 69, died Aug. 4, 2020, at her home in East Prairie.
Born Jan. 18, 1951, in East Prairie, daughter of Delma Fern Purl Parr and the late Charles Paul Parr, she had lived in East Prairie her entire life and was a 1968 graduate of East Prairie High Schoo. She attended cosmetology school. On Aug. 10, 1968, she married Rex Edward Burney, who survives of the home.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by one son, Rex Anthony (Jacque) Burney; one brother, Calvin Parr; one sister, Carla Heppe; and one granddaughter.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one sister, Edna Faye Parr; and her grandmother, Monica Lee Hutton.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until service time at 7 p.m. Friday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Martin Lucas will officiate.
