EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Richard Eden “Eddie” Archie, 56, died Aug. 16, 2020, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Born March 16, 1964, son of the late Richard and Linda Pope Archie, he was retired from Bootheel Tractor Parts, where he was employed in maintenance. He was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include: his longtime partner, Vanessa Shankle of the home; two sons, Richard Mark Gaddy of Sikeston, Missouri, and Richard Eden “A.J.” Archie Jr. of East Prairie; five daughters, Amber Nicole Gaddy of Sikeston, Madilyn Jean Archie of Sikeston, Misty Rae (Tony) Long of Dexter, Missouri, BJ (Joe) Duenne of East Prairie and Kristen Lee (Brian) Jones of East Prairie; one sister, Reba Stewart of Arlington, Texas; and 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon until service time at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie with Jon Archie, pastor of Elm Street Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Mike Byassee, Brandon Revelle, Robert Miller, Charlie McCollom, Ronnie Byassee and Mike Grissom.
