Lillie Ferguson

MARSTON, Mo. — Lillie Lucille Ferguson, 94, died Aug. 18, 2020, at the New Madrid Living Center in NewMadrid, Missouri.

Born Feb. 1, 1926, in Dyess, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Rosie Reed Martin and Walter Martin.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Gary, Obie and Odell Martin; seven sisters, Tillie Eaton, Ollie Southard, Lois Smothers, Gertie Ash, Opal Thornton, Pauline Emerson and Christine Vickey; one son, Donald Ferguson; one daughter, Betty Britt; and three grandchildren.

On Jan. 21, 1943, in Kaiser, Arkansas, she married James W. Ferguson who preceded her in death on June 6, 2009.

Survivors include: one son, James and Mary Ferguson of Marston; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Ferguson, Gary Cook, Josh Brown, Christopher Brown, Eric Humphrey and Tyler Humphrey.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at noon Friday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville.

Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery.
