EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Jody Lynn Carter, 40, died Sept. 4, 2020, at her home in East Prairie.
Born Oct. 3, 1979, in Washington County, Missouri, daughter of Mary Carter Mace of East Prairie and the late Jimmy Joe Dean, she was a convenience store clerk and of the Baptist belief.
In addition to her mother, survivors include: her fiance, William Patrick of East Prairie; her stepfather, William Mace of East Prairie; two sons, Brent (Jamie) Dobbs and Seth Dobbs of Potosi; three daughters, Josie Carter and Elizabeth Dobbs of Potosi and Miracle Wells of East Prairie; two brothers, Jimmy Dean of St. Clair and William Mace Jr. of East Prairie; and four sisters, Angela Dean of Dexter, and Billie Vinson, Stephanie Mace and Christian Dean of East Prairie; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie with Mike Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
