19 Sikeston seniors vie for Miss Sikeston crown

SIKESTON — Nineteen Sikeston High School seniors will be vying for the title of Miss Sikeston at 8 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion Cotton Carnival held at the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo Grounds.

Mia Arndt, daughter of Melissa Morris, is involved with cheerleading, soccer, DECA, Key Club, The Bulldog Barker, Link Crew, FCA, Red Peppers and NHS.

Brittany Bryars, daughter of Donald Bryars and Gail Groves, is a drum major in the marching band, senior editor for the yearbook and a member of the Red Peppers, FBLA, Link Crew, NHS and Model UN.

Brionna Flye, daughter of Keisha Burrow and Richard Flye, is a member of TAP Club, DECA, FBLA, Key Club, Link Crew, speech and debate, college ambassador, student principle committee, Model UN, A+ Program, NHS and is student body vice president.

Caroline Fodge, daughter of Lora and Harold Fodge, is a cheerleader and member of SOAR, Red Peppers, Skills USA, DECA, FCA, FTA, Grow Your Own Teachers and A+ Program.

Olivia Grant, daughter of Angela Grant, is a cheerleader and member of Red Peppers, DECA and cadet teaching.

Emily Hairston, daughter of Mitch and Amanda Hairston, is a member of the Red Peppers.

Armani Hodges, daughter of Armand Hodges and Sheanell Brandy, is student body president, vice president of NHS, ASTRA president and member of DECA, volleyball, basketball, Bulldog Leadership Team, college ambassador, FCA, Link Crew, track and field, orchestra, Model UN, Strengthening Police and Community Partnerships program.

Lydia Hodgkiss, daughter of Gabbie and Roy Hodgkiss Jr., plays softball and soccer and is a member of Red Peppers, Student Council, ASTRA, A+ Program, Key Club, FBLA, DECA, NHS and Link Crew.

Jordan James, daughter of Billy and Lisa James, plays softball and soccer and is a member of Red Peppers, NHS and the A+ Program.

Tamyia Johnson, daughter of Tiffany and Myron Hardin and Dion Davis, is a cheerleader and member of the Red Peppers, marching band, FBLA, FCA, track and field team, Key Club, A+ Program, Link Crew, secretary of ASTRA and Student Council.

Audra McMillen, daughter of Jim and Katie McMillen, is a member of Red Peppers, Art Club, Model UN, FBLA, yearbook, A+ Program and FCA.

Madison Mothershead, daughter of Keith and Elizabeth Mothershead, is a member of Red Peppers, all-district honors orchestra and the A+ Program.

Ally Nelson, daughter of Matt and Shannon Nelson, is the Cayenne of the Red Peppers and member of NHS, FCA, FBLA, DECA, student council and Key Club.

Trashiona Ranson, daughter of Tracy and Margaret Ranson, plays volleyball and basketball and is a member of the A+ Program, Red Peppers, FFA and Grow Your Own Teacher.

Julia Spurlock, daughter of Dean and Christine Spurlock, plays softball and soccer, is demerit chairman of the Red Peppers and member of FBLA, DECA, NHS, A+ Program and Grow Your Own Teachers.

Lilly Beth Sutton, daughter of Jeff and Tracey Sutton, is a cheerleader and member of the Red Peppers, FCA, FBLA, Key Club, DECA, Link Crew and serves as editor of the Bulldog Barker.

Khrystionna Swann, daughter of Kendra Fernandez, plays volleyball, serves as secretary of the Red Peppers, and is in NHS, FBLA, FCA, DECA and the A+ Program.

Kassidy Tinnin, daughter of Jeff and Jessica Tinnin, is a member of the Red Peppers.

Kendra Wright, daughter of Ashley Wright and Richard Wright and Tara Moore, is a cheerleader and member of the Red Peppers, track team, FBLA, Science Olympiad, FTA, Model UN, Art Club and Student Council.
