Miles, Arndt named Students of the Month for October

SIKESTON — Mia Arndt and Joseph Charles “Joe” Miles were named Sikeston High School Students of the Month for October.

Sikeston Public Schools Foundation, which sponsors the monthly program, names two seniors each month for the honor during the 2020-2021 school year.

Arndt, who is the daughter of Melissa Morris, participates in varsity cheerleading, varsity soccer, and she serves as the National Honors Society president, DECA president and the Bulldog Barker editor. She is a member of the Key Club, FCA, SOAR, Model UN, Red Peppers, Link Crew, Girls State and ACT 30-plus Club. She currently holds a summa cum laude GPA. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, coaching gymnastics, driving around with friends and listening to music.

Miles is the son of Jeff and Norma Miles. He is the senior class president and a member of NHS, FBLA, Bulldog Leadership Team, SOAR, Key Club, Link Crew, DECA, Model UN and the baseball team. His hobbies include playing golf and tennis.
