Parma homes destroyed by fire

A fire on N. Caney Street in Parma on New Year’s Eve destroyed two homes and damaged a third. The fire started as a single residential fire quickly turned into three houses on fire due to high winds and heat transfer. A fourth home was also exposed to the blaze. One of the homes was abandoned while residents of the other homes escaped without injury. The Parma Volunteer Fire Department along with Lilbourn and Malden helped fight the blaze.
