Morehouse man jailed for narcotics, stolen property

MOREHOUSE, Mo. — Officers serving a warrant found narcotics and stolen property at a Morehouse residence.
The New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department reported the arrest of Christopher Simpson for the felonies of possession of a controlled substance and stealing. Simpson is currently being held in the Mississippi County with no bond set.
Assisting the Sheriff’s Department in the arrest were the Morehouse Police Department and the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Department.
According to online court records, Simpson is scheduled for a court appearance at 10 a.m. Monday before New Madrid County Associate Judge Joshua Underwood.
