EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Heaven gained at beautiful angel, Faye E. Conyers Youngblood, age 92, a resident of East Prairie. She passed away Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, at 12:47 p.m. at the Bertrand Nursing Center.

Born Feb. 2, 1929, in the Sugartree Community, to Fred and Bertha Bisher Conyers, Faye lived most of her life in East Prairie where she was a member of the First Baptist General Baptist Church. Faye was volunteer for the Chamber of Commerce RSVP. She was employed many years at the Brown Shoe Company until she retired in 1991.

On July 2, 1946, she married CB Youngblood, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are her sons, Andy (Donna) Youngblood and Marty (Tammy) Youngblood of Olive Branch, Illinois; two daughters, Brenda (David) Brewer and Beverly Miller both of East Prairie; one brother, Lonnie Conyers of Wickliffe, Kentucky; and one sister, Jo Colson of Carmi, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Missi (Scott) Johnston, Danny (Emilee) Brewer, Robin (Stacy) Moore, Anthony (Christy) Miller, Jason (Mandy) Youngblood, Joey Brewer, Benji (Casey) Miller and Cody Youngblood; 14 great-grandchildren, Corey, Taylor D., Kyle, Levi, Taylor J., Devon, Kallie, Dakota, Rachel, Katie, Drew, Aden, Hunter and Colton; eight great great grandchildren, Lane, Jadelyn, Jerzie, Avery, Cambree, Roper, Kylen and Tatum.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four children, Edward Lee, Turena Louise, Charly Byrd and Elgin Dewayne and by four brothers, Frank, Charlie, Cloyce and Earnest (Slick) Conyers; four sisters, Helen Jacobs, Lois Looney, Molly Keene and Rovina Phillips.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Martin Lucas of East Prairie will officiate.

Interment will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Pallbearers will be: Danny Brewer, Jason Youngblood, Joey Brewer, Anthony Miller, Benji Miller and Cody Youngblood.
