MINER, Mo. — A Texas woman faces felony charges following an alleged stabbing at a motel in Miner.
Samantha Denise Parker, 26, of Arlington, Texas, is charged through Scott County with first degree domestic assault causing serious physical injury and armed criminal action, according to online court records.
On Friday night, officers with Miner Police Department responded to a call in reference to a stabbing at one the local motels, according to Miner Police Chief James Buckley. Officers made contact with the victim and witness, and they identified Parker as the suspect, the chief said via a post on the police department’s Facebook page.
Parker was taken into custody, a probable cause affidavit was completed and no bond warrant was issued.
“I would like to thank the Scott County Sheriff’s Office for assistance with this incident,” Buckley said.
Parker was scheduled to appear before Judge Robert Zachary Horack at 1 p.m. Monday.
