Robert Grimes Jr.
SIKESTON — Robert Grimes Jr, age 61, passed away on March 13, 2021, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Feb. 16, 1960, in St. Louis, to Martha Shaw Grimes and the late Robert Grimes.
On Sept. 16, 1993, in Sikeston, he married Rose Stanley Grimes who survives of the home in Sikeston.
He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston; he was employed at Morlan Ford in Sikeston.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Jack Daniels of Sikeston and Justin Daniels of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Billy Hopper of Garland, Texas; one sister, Lisa Alsup of Sikeston; and one granddaughter, Katelyn Payne.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at noon at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston with J.L. Nabors, pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston, officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: Azizi Ray, Azeriontay Ray, Justin Daniels, Jack Daniels, Robert Stanley and Ron Broyles.
