CHARLESTON, Mo. — The City of Charleston will be conducting their Annual Spring Clean-Up from March 20-28. This year there will be no curbside pickup, however, there will be a large trash container behind City Hall on First Street for those who need to dispose of items. CHARLESTON, Mo. — The City of Charleston will be conducting their Annual Spring Clean-Up from March 20-28.

This year there will be no curbside pickup, however, there will be a large trash container behind City Hall on First Street for those who need to dispose of items. The dumpsters are for Charleston residents only.

Items that will not be accepted are: tires, appliances, batteries, junked car bodies, hot water heaters, air conditioners or any items with Freon, any type of junked auto parts, construction related materials, petroleum products, pressurized containers, explosives, pesticides, chemicals, yard waste of any kind, liquids like paint or oil or biohazardous materials.

Anyone violating the rules will be prosecuted.
