The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control announces the arrest of Jackie Whitehead, 36, of Malden, Missouri, on Thursday, March 18, 2021, for possession of child pornography.
The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Division of Drug and Crime Control’s Digital Forensics Investigative Unit and the Missouri Digital Forensic Center.
On Thursday, March 18, 2021, investigators executed a search warrant at Whitehead’s residence located on North Decatur Street, in Malden. As a result of the search, investigators seized child pornography and computer equipment. Whitehead was arrested and transported to the Dunklin County Jail.
The Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office formally charged Whitehead with four counts of possession of child pornography. Whitehead remains in custody at the Dunklin County Jail with a bond of $175,000. The Patrol was assisted by the Cape Girardeau and Malden police departments.
The Division of Drug and Crime Control encourages Internet users to promptly report to the Patrol or local law enforcement anyone who attempts to engage in unwanted, inappropriate, or sexualized communications with children.
