EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Jerry Allen Stallings, loving and devoted Husband, Father and Paw Paw went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 26, 2021. He was surrounded by loving family as he passed into the arms of his heavenly father. He was 74.

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Jerry Allen Stallings, loving and devoted Husband, Father and Paw Paw went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 26, 2021. He was surrounded by loving family as he passed into the arms of his heavenly father. He was 74.

Jerry was born July 16, 1946, at Sikeston, to the late James Albert Stallings and Helen Aliene Wilburn Stallings and was a 1964 graduate of East Prairie High School. Jerry loved all things farm-related. Since the age of 9, he had worked alongside his father on the family farm and went on to become a successful farmer and land owner with his own farm operation. He attended the Elm Street Baptist Church and had served for many years on the board of M.F.A. Oil Company and President of the Dogwood Cemetery Association.

On March 12, 1971, he married Janie Lynn Foster, who survives of the home. They just shared their Golden “50th”Anniversary.

Also surviving are his daughters, Jennifer Stallings and her fiance, David James of Jackson, Tennessee, and Julie Stallings Dugan and her husband, Bryan Dugan of East Prairie; his granddaughter, Stella-Grace Stallings Dugan; his sisters, Shirley (Larry) Britt of East Prairie and Alvina (Scott) Mainord of Benton; also, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, March 29, 2021, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2021, in the McMikle Chapel with Jon Archie, pastor of Elm Street Baptist Church near Charleston, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.

Pallbearers will be: Bryan Dugan, Tim Wagner, Matt Foster, Ben Foster, Kirk Powers, Ricky Sipp, Elijah Hall and Dustin McCann.
