East Prairie woman earns master’s degree from Concordia University

SEWARD, Neb. — Michelle McGruder of East Prairie, Missouri, earned a Master of Education from Concordia University, Nebraska.

Concordia University, Nebraska, founded in 1894, is a fully accredited, coeducational university located in Seward, Neb., which currently serves over 2,500 students.

Belmont University announces Spring 2021 dean’s list

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Two Southeast Missouri students achieved the Dean’s List at Belmont University for the spring 2021 semester.

Kaylie Holt of Bernie, Missouri, and Mikayla Smith of Puxico, Missouri, are among Belmont students who made the dean’s list.

Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours (exclusive of audit and pass/fail courses this semester) and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C (inclusive of audit, pass/fail courses and zero-credit courses).

Charleston grad named to dean’s list at Fontbonne

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Charleston student Stephen Willis, a full-time undergraduate student at Fontbonne University majoring in biology in St. Louis, Missouri, was named to the Spring 2021 Dean’s List.

Dean’s List honorees must earn a grade-point average of 3.7 or higher upon completion of the 2021 spring semester. More than 230 students appear on the Spring 2021 Dean’s List.
