Troy Lee May

MOREHOUSE, Mo. — Troy Lee May of Morehouse was born to the late Sim and Pauline May on March 23, 1935, in McGee and passed away on June 16, 2021, in Sikeston at the age of 86 years.

Troy had been a resident of Morehouse for eight years. He has lived in Puxico and Wister, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Sikeston. Troy love to travel and enjoyed being a truck driver earlier in life.

Troy was married to Phyllis Buchanan May on Feb. 9, 2015.

Troy is survived by his wife, Phyllis May; one son, Randy (Diana) May of Amarillo, Texas; one stepson, Keith (Carmela) Ryan of Fenton; one daughter, Pepper (Eric) Waltham of Morell Bay, California; one stepdaughter, Toni (Jerry) Dement of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one brother, Loy May of Elsa, Illinois; one sister, Lucille Craig of Morell Bay; several nieces and nephews. A host of family and friends also survive.

Graveside service will be on June 19, 2021, at 10 a.m. at the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico with Minister Joe McCullough of Sikeston officiating.
