Arkansas State announces spring 2021 graduates
JONESBORO, Ark. – Arkansas State University has announced the list of students who completed degree requirements to graduate at Spring Commencement, held May 8 in Centennial Bank Stadium.
Chancellor Kelly Damphousse presented diplomas at the associate, bachelor, master, specialist and doctoral levels, along with various program certificates, as awarded through the various colleges: Agriculture, Neil Griffin College of Business, Education and Behavioral Science, Engineering and Computer Science, Liberal Arts and Communication, Nursing and Health Professions, Sciences and Mathematics, and University College.
Undergraduates with a 4.0 GPA are designated Summa Cum Laude. Those with a GPA of 3.8-3.99 are Magna Cum Laude, and those with a GPA of 3.6-3.79 are Cum Laude.

Dexter resident graduates from Rockhurst University
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Rockhurst University has announced the students who have earned degrees as of the end of the spring 2021 semester.
Locally, Cassey Hart of Dexter, Missouri, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Cum Laude during an in-person commencement ceremony May 21 at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas.

The remarkably resilient Class of 2021 includes students who graduated summer 2020, fall 2020 and spring 2021-completing their degrees during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Our graduates distinguished themselves by completing their degrees in incredibly difficult circumstances,” said Michael L. Good, interim president. “We celebrate their achievements and are excited to see what they accomplish in the next phase of their lives. We are confident they have the skills, expertise and knowledge to excel and contribute to making our world a better place.”
Students in the Class of 2021 ranged in age from 18 to 86 and earned 9,035 degrees. Graduates represented 53 U.S. states and territories, and 66 foreign countries.
