Georgia McAfee

SIKESTON — Georgia McAfee, age 63, passed away on Aug. 16, 2021, at her home in Sikeston.

She was born on Aug. 9, 1958, in Clarksville, Tennessee, to the late Wallace and Helean Wyatt Baccus.

She was a member at New Savannah Baptist Church in Blodgett, Missouri.

She owned and operated the Quilting Fabrics and Crafts Store in Sikeston from 2007 until her retirement in 2017.

On Oct. 15, 1977, in Charleston, Missouri, she married David McAfee who survives of the home in Sikeston.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Jennifer McAfee and Daniel Weil of St. Louis, Missouri; one son, Rodney (Amanda) McAfee of Streetman, Texas; one brother, Wayne (Kathy) Baccus of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; one sister, Sharon Motes of Sikeston; five grandchildren, Krissi, Gabbi, Gage, Gavin and Levi; and her dog, Rascal.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 20, 2021, from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston with Brother Josh McKinney, pastor at New Savannah Baptist Church, officiating.
