Where does the board stand?

Why haven’t you published my comments about the school board? I believe that people should ask the school board what they think about things such as critical race theory, white privilege and systemic racism. You need to ask the school board members where they stand on these issues.

We aren’t sure what Speakout comment you are referring to. You can always attend Sikeston R-6 school board meetings, which are held at 5:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month. Patrons who want to address the board can sign up prior to the start of the meeting to speak during the public comment portion of the meeting. You can also ask in advance to be placed on the meeting agenda.
