SIKESTON — Robert Lee Pennington II, age 53, of Sikeston, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Oct. 25, 1967, at Minot, North Dakota, to Charlene Chism who survives of Sikeston, and the late Robert Pennington. Robert had lived in Sikeston most of his life and had been employed at Tyson Foods in Dexter until ill health forced his retirement.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his sons, Matthew Blake Pennington of Jackson and Zeke Michael Pennington of Sikeston; his brother, Barry Grissom of Sikeston; his sisters, Cyndi (Darrell) Barksdale of Hartsville, TN and Elishia (Jimmy Parker) Baker of Sikeston; also, a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Family and friends may then assemble for graveside services at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: Bobby Griswell, Josh Clark, Will Barksdale, Jimmy Parker, Scott Keefer and David Ottinger.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Darrell Barksdale and Carl Merideth.
