U.S. Army Central welcomes Sikeston native

During a recent ceremony in Sumter, S.C., U.S. Army Central (USARCENT) welcomed Sikeston, Missouri, native MG Wendul G. Hagler II, and his wife, Carlotta. Hagler will serve as the USARCENT Deputy Commanding General assisting the USARCENT Commander in fulfilling daily command responsibilities and, providing oversight to key activities, and ensures continuity of operations. USARCENT provides land forces for US Central Command (CENTCOM), which oversees operations in a theater of four million square miles in the Middle East, Central, and South Asia.
