BLOOMFIELD, Mo. — One person was killed and two others injured in a two-car accident near Bloomfield Friday evening.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by Christopher Tormino, 35, of Campbell, Missouri, was eastbound, crossing Highway 25 at Griffin Road, when he was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by Alice Wimberly, 61, of Bloomfield at 4:45 p.m.

A passenger in Wimberly's vehicle, Roy G. Bell was declared dead at 6:04 p.m. while a 13-year-old juvenile passenger in his vehicle was transported by Air Evac to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis with serious injuries.

Wimberly was taken by ambulance to the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau with serious injuries.
