County tax issue with AT&T

I would like to let the AT&T wireless customers know that if they have a Sikeston address with the zip code 63801, but they do not live in the city limits, and they live in New Madrid County instead of Scott County, on their cell phone bill, they are being charged a Sikeston city tax and they are being charged Scott County taxes instead of New Madrid County taxes, which is not a big difference but New Madrid County taxes are cheaper than Scott County. I have contacted AT&T and they have told me they cannot fix the problem, that New Madrid County customers are still going to have to pay Scott County taxes.

Why is Black capitalized?

In the Associated Press articles when there is about Black people and White people, they capitalize the word Black but they don’t capitalize the word White. Why is that?

The Associated Press made a decision to capitalize Black in their stories but not White about a year ago. When writing stories, Standard Democrat reporters have chosen to capitalize both, however, the Associated Press stories will remain as written.
