Ellen Lane
MATTHEWS, Mo. — Ellen Marie Lane, age 78, of Matthews passed away on Jan. 15, 2022, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.
She was born April 30, 1943, in Charleston, Missouri, to the late Leonard and Frances Hahn Leible Sr.
On June 15, 1963, in Chaffee, Missouri, she married Merrill David Lane, who preceded her in death on Jan. 30, 2018.
Survivors include: four daughters and four sons-in-law, Karen and Lynn Sullenger of Portageville, Missouri, Kim and Mark Hinton of Bloomfield, Missouri, Kathy and Rick Williams of Wichita, Kansas, and Krystal and Walter Campbell of Canalou, Missouri; two brothers, Leonard “Sonny” Leible Jr. of Chaffee and Tommy Leible of Chaffee; two sisters, Rose Ryan of Davison, Michigan, and Carol Blanchard of Ardmore, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Jessica Sullenger of Canalou, Kyle Williams of Great Falls, Montana, Jamie Sullenger of Fruitland, Missouri, Jeremy Williams of Andover, Kansas, Jonathan Langley of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Grant Hinton of Jackson, Missouri, and Mercade Lovins of Matthews; 16 great-grandchildren; and one special fur baby, Angel.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Hooker and Catherine Smith Ginther.
A memorial service is planned for a later date.
