Falkenberg, Jenkins named SHS Students of the Month

SIKESTON — Paige Falkenberg and McKenna Jenkins were named Sikeston High School Students of the Month for January.

Sikeston Public Schools Foundation, which sponsors the monthly program, names two seniors each month for the honor during the 2021-2022 school year.

Falkenberg, who is the daughter of Terri Falkenberg, is a member of Student Council, National Honor Society, Red Peppers, ASTRA, Link Crew, and she is co-editor of the yearbook. Her hobbies include singing, playing the viola and piano, spending time with friends and family and listening to music.

Jenkins is the daughter of Ronald and Katie Jenkins. She has participated in girls basketball, marching band, jazz band and symphonic band. She’s a member of Link Crew, Inspired Presenters, Key Club, ASTRA Club and the National Honor Society.

In her spare time, she enjoys doing anything musically, and she likes to play her guitars, ukulele and percussion instruments.
