Anthony Scheffer
SIKESTON — Anthony Keith Scheffer, age 62, passed away on Feb. 4, 2022, at his home in Sikeston.
He was born in Charleston, Missouri, to the late Clement O’ Dine Scheffer Jr. and Evelyn Pauline Triplett Scheffer who survives of the home in Sikeston.
He is survived by five daughters, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Huff of Rome, Georgia, Rebecca Scheffer of Lane, Michigan, Amanda Scheffer of Sikeston, Ashley Scheffer of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Melinda Scheffer of Miner, Missouri; two brothers, Clement O’Dine (Bonnie) Scheffer III of Sikeston and Robert Allen Scheffer of Sikeston; four sisters, Victoria (Ronald) Gardiner of Morley, Missouri, Beverley (Tony) Ivie of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Karen (Allan) Rettig of Sikeston and Lisa (Jimmy) Brewer of Sikeston; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Mark Scheffer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, from 5 p.m. until time of rosary service at 7 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022, at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston with Celebrant Rev. Colby Elbert.
A private family interment will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022.
