SIKESTON — Two men face felony drug trafficking charges following an investigation by Sikeston Department of Public Safety.
Andrew J. Sales Jr., 66, of Benton, Missouri, and Paul D. Freeman, 59, of Sikeston, Missouri, are each charged with second degree drug trafficking; two counts of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid; tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution; and two counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, according to online court records.
Sales and Freeman were arrested Feb. 10 by Sikeston DPS after a search warrant was executed at 2 Cresap St. in Sikeston, according to DPS reports.
Bond for Freeman was set at $75,000 and for Sales at $60,000 with pre-trial supervision by specialized court serves and no contact with the co-defendant. They were scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday before Circuit Judge Zach Horack. As of early Thursday, they both remained in the Scott County Jail.
