Thank a Farmer Week

Jami Geske reads “The Cow in Patrick O’Flanahan’s Kitchen” by Diana Prichard to second graders Monday at Gideon Elementary in Gideon. As part of this weeklong celebration of “Thank a Farmer Week,” which is Feb. 27-March 5, farmers from New Madrid County read the book to second graders, educating them about food and fiber. The book was then donated to the school library.
