Biden didn’t brag about himself

After watching the State of the Union address by President Joe Biden, it was nice to see a president that acted like a president. Unlike ex-president Tump, Biden did not use the state of the union address to campaign, overstate the truth, or brag about himself.

Have some respect for Sikeston

If you live in the Sikeston area, have some respect for yourself and your neighbors. Keep your yard clean and by all means if you have a garage or back yard, keep your trash can there instead of displaying it in the front yard. If you take a drive thru the north end historic district, I think you will be disappointed.

No new voter ID cards

As of Feb. 27, 2022, New Madrid County residents still have not received their 2022 voter ID cards. I called them on Feb. 8, 2022, before voting and they said the 2021 cards would still be OK.
