PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. — Kimberly Ann Simmons, was born May 1, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Bobby Dan and Alice Galvan Pepper. She passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022, at her home in Portageville at the age of 59 years, 2 months and 5 days.

Kim was warm and friendly and was always a smiling face at the New Madrid County Health Department until her retirement. She loved sunflowers and enjoyed watching “Gone With the Wind.” She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the First Church of God in Portageville.

She was united in marriage to Ronnie Simmons on April 14, 1995, in Portageville. He survives of the home.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Dan and Alice Galvan Pepper; and a brother, William Scott Pepper.

Kim leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of 26 years, Ronnie Simmons, of the home in Portageville; her brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Donette Pepper of Gideon, Missouri; sisters and brothers-in-law, Valarie and Timmy Bunch of Hayti, Missouri; Regina and Randy Hinklin of Portageville and Denise and James Johnson of Portageville. Kim was loved by all who knew her and leaves behind many other relatives and friends who will deeply miss her loving presence.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2022, at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at First Church of God.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
