JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — On March 16, 1988, Acie Dixon III was born in Sikeston, Missouri, to Acie Dixon Jr. and Shontelle Dixon. Affectionately known as Trey, he lived his 33 years on this earth with determination and confidence.

He began his journey to success at age 11 playing little league football. At 96 pounds, he was one of the smallest players. By ninth grade, Acie was starring on both the Junior Varsity and Varsity football lineups. He continued to dominate the field his sophomore year, earning the 2003 Surprise Player of the Year. By the end of his high school career, Acie had racked up several more accolades, including five Montgomery Bank Player of the Week awards, 2004 SEMO North All-Conference Football Team, 2005 SEMO North All-Conference Football Team, 2005 Captain's Award and 2005 Offensive Player of the Year.

While gaining recognition throughout Southeast Missouri, Acie also became a proud father to his one and only son, Acie Dixon IV on Dec. 3, 2005.

After high school, he explored careers in corrections but ultimately chose to use his physical strength to his ability, securing roles in warehouse production.

In 2019, Acie began a new journey as a husband, marrying his forever love, Elaine, planting roots in Jacksonville, Florida.

When he wasn't out enjoying culture or hanging at the beach, he was just kicking back and relaxing.

On March 9, 2022, Acie got the ultimate promotion to angel, joining his grandparents, Acie Dixon Sr. and Jewel Hatchett; his mom, Shontelle; and cousin, Sam.
