Don’t cut the line

We all saw you at the food bank. A man and woman in a dark vehicle coming from the south side of the building, not the north side — where you should have been. Waiting to drive in front of everyone else that had waited of for a couple of hours, and you two being there such a short time. It was not only rude, disrespectful and ugly, it was the true sense of two bullies. Shame on you.

Shout out to mayor

Just want to give a shout out to our new mayor that sees that a bathroom in Downtown Sikeston would be better in the park than being on the center of Front Street.

Learn flag etiquette

I was out at the Sikeston Complex, Friday, April 22. There was a soccer game and some type of truck rally going on. When I drove by the first time there was a big truck with the name Superman on the side holding a giant flag. An hour or so later, the truck was gone and the flag lay on the ground crumpled. Shameful. Someone needs to be taught flag etiquette.

Cut those gas cards up

There’s a place over here on Highway 105 before you get to C and D intersection. Their gas is $2.69 two days ago, everybody else is $2.79, $2.84 over here in Mississippi County. Since nobody else raised their gas prices down, they went back up 10 cents. Gas didn’t go up 10 cents in one or two days. You know what I’m gonna do, I’m gonna just cut my gas card up I got from that company and I’m asking everybody else in Mississippi County that does business in that place, let’s cut those gas cards up. Let’s go somewhere else. Let’s show them. That’s greed. Only reason they raised their price up is because nobody else went down to $2.69 so they went up to $2.79. That’s just disrespect. Cut em for a week. Let’s show them. Greedy suckers.

So let us get this straight. You are upset at the one gas station who had lower prices for a few days and raised their prices to match other gas stations who had the higher prices the whole time? And now you want everyone to cut the cards to the gas station who had the lower prices and for everyone to use the stations who consistently had the higher prices?
