Cook off

Chris Chadwick of McKenzie, Tennessee, cooks ribs during th 9th Annual Sikeston American Legion Poker Run & Cook Off Competition held at American Legion 114 in Sikeston Saturday. Twenty-two teams were entered in the Cook Off Competition that included cooking pork butt, ribs, half chicken and rib eyes. There was also a Mystery Meat Basket Competition along with the poker run. Friday night included a corn hole tournament and the Ultimate Flooring Wing War Competition. All proceeds from the two-day event go to the Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
