Tankersley, Boshell lead Oran Class of 2022
ORAN, Mo. — Leading the Oran High School class of 2022 academically are valedictorian Lydia Tankersley and salutatorian Hannah Boshell.
Tankersley, who is the daughter of Randy Tankersley and Trina Tankersley of Perkins, Missouri, is active in Senior Beta Club, FCCLA, girls basketball, softball and Student Council. Her scholarships and grants include Missouri Access Grant, Copper Dome, $3,000; SEMO Electric scholarship, $800; Residence Life Leadership Award, $1,000; Anita Barnes Memorial Scholarship, $2,140; CTA Scholarship, $1,000; Oran Teacher Recruitment Scholarship, $1,000.
Tankersley plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University where she will major in elementary education.
Boshell is the daughter of Michael and Brandy Boshell. Her activities include: girls basketball and volleyball, Senior Beta Club, FCA, FFA and Vacation Bible School. She was awarded the following scholarships and grants: University Scholarship, $10,000; federal pell grant, $5,000; Union Supplemental Grant, $2,500; and Anita Barnes Memorial Scholarship, $2,140.
Boshell’s plans are to major in marine biology at Union University.
