Smith doesn’t care about kids

Jason Smith, voted “no” on a gun-control bill, “Protecting Our Kids Act,” which passed by the U.S. House on June 8. Smith was paid by the NRA to say “no”. He apparently likes the NRA money more than he cares about the children in Missouri.

Enforce handicap parking in Sikeston

I’m calling to wonder why the handicap parking enforcement is not done in Sikeston. The police can, under state law, go on to the lot and issue a ticket. And if you are using handicap plackard or tags, the person the tags or plackard is for is not in the vehicle, you are not in violation. I see so many of these cases and it makes it harder on the person that is handicapped because they have to walk long distances. Please be respectful people. And I wish the police would do something about it in Sikeston. Tow the vehicles if needed.

Paid parental leave needed

The United States is the only developed country in the world that does not have paid parental leave.

This would provide life-long mental/emotional stability benefits to our children to bond with their parents closely.
