ANNISTON, Mo. — Ronald Ray Myrick, 81, of Anniston, died Friday, July 22, 2022, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Nov. 19, 1940, at Anniston, to the late Alvin Myrick and Lena McKinley Myrick. Ronald left Anniston at a young age when he joined the United States Army. Following his service to his country, he settled in Gary, IN and remained there a number of years where he was employed in construction. After his retirement, he returned to Anniston in 1995, to be near his family.

Surviving is his sister, Lena Myrick Brown of Anniston, his brother, John Myrick of El Paso, Texas, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother, Richard Myrick, as well as his brothers, Buddy Myrick and Runt Myrick and sisters, Mary Steward, Dorothy Null and Beulah Quay.

Family and friends may gather for graveside services at 10 a.m., Friday, July 29, 2022, at the Anniston Cemetery. Martin Lucas of East Prairie will officiate.

Interment with full military honors will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
