SIKESTON — Ritta Sue Morrow Belt, 75, a resident of Sikeston, died Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Sept. 9, 1946, at Red Bay, Alabama, to the late Richard H. Morrow and Mattie Pearl Strickland Morrow, she had lived in Scott County most of her life. Ritta loved quilting, crafting and griping at her loved ones. She was of Baptist belief.

On Dec. 11, 1964, she married Kenneth Ray Belt, who survives of the home in Sikeston.

Also surviving are her children, Robert “Tony” (Lisa) Belt of Sikeston; April (Tim) Cain of Olive Branch, IL and Aaron (Elisha) Belt of Benton; 14 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; brother and sisters, Grover (Mary Ann) Morrow of Diehlstadt, Mike (Penny) Morrow and Danny (Mary) Morrow both of Wappapello, Roger (Glenda) Morrow of Benton; Debbie (Mike) Hornback and Theresa (David) Jones, both of Morley; and a number nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Ottis B. Morrow, Garland Morrow, Richard R. Morrow, Bonnie Romanowski and Donna Morrow Sevic.

Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour at 1 p.m., Thursday, July 28, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Jim Simmons will officiate.

Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Matthew Marks, Shawn Marks, Caleb Marks, Sam Cain, Chris Belt and Landon Belt.
