Thanks for nothing

Whoever was contracted out by our great city of Sikeston to trim the tree limbs away from the electric wires did a great job. LOL! Now I only have limbs on the south side of my tree. The first hard wind from the north I’m sure will topple it. I haven’t the money to shape it up. Thank you. I live on Courtney.

Missourians deserve better

For the Jan. 6 committee’s investigation, Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi chose two objective, impartial Republicans — not any of the extremists. I find offense that Jason Smith callously calls the Jan. 6 Committee “made for TV hearings.” Smith knows that real people died and real people were injured that terrible day. Their families will forever be changed. Hard-working Missourians deserve better representation.

Not believing Greitens’ news

I receive pamphlets in the mail about Eric Greitens abusing his family. I do not believe it. That is gossip untrue and a scandal.
