Gary Davis

ROUND ROCK, Texas — Gary M. Davis of Round Rock passed away of natural causes at his home on July 2, 2022, at the age of 78.

He was born in Bernie, Missouri, to the late Herman and Mara Lee Lindsay Davis on Nov. 21, 1943.

Gary was a graduate of Bernie High School in Bernie and a graduate of Semo University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He served honorably as a Navigator in the United States Air Force for 28 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1991. Gary is a veteran of the Vietnam War and Desert Shield/Storm. For his service, he earned many medals and flew several combat missions.

Gary is survived by one daughter, Sasha (Elliot) Saleman; and two grandsons, Simon and Ethan Saleman of Georgetown, Texas; and two sisters, Marilyn K. Ferrell of Sikeston, Missouri, and Martha Faye Davis of Bernie.

Per his request, his cremains will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.
