First Day of School

Students are greeted with fist bumps from teachers and administrators, music and a red carpet as they arrived for their first day of school Tuesday at the Sikeston Kindergarten and Early Childhood Center. Tuesday marked the first day of the new school year for all students who attend Sikeston R-6 schools. Classes resumed for some schools on Monday while others were set to return Wednesday and Thursday.
