Paula Russell
MATTHEWS, Mo. — Paula Kay Laster Russell, age 57, died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022, at her home in Matthews.
Paula was born Oct. 19, 1964, in Mississippi County, MO, to the late Curtis Edward Laster and Yvonne Nolen Laster. Paula grew up in Wyatt and was a 1983 graduate of Charleston High School. She had lived in Matthews over the past 20 years.
She married Calvin Gene Russell and he survives of the home in Matthews.
Also surviving is her daughter, Lauren Annette Russell of New Madrid; her sister, Brenda Laster Baker of Bertrand; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant brother, Allen Wayne Laster and her sisters, Janice Johnson and Candy McEntire.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until time for memorial service at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
