Charles Williams
NEW MADRID, Mo. — Charles Edward Williams, 81, of New Madrid passed away Sept. 2, 2022, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.
He was born Sept. 15, 1940, in Henryville, Tennessee, to the late Howard and Sarah (Shaddix) Williams.
On Sept. 15, 1966, he was married to Betty (Rundel) Williams, who preceded him in death on June 23, 2004.
Survivors include: daughters, Brenda and Alan Lancaster of Sikeston, Angie and Allen Williams of Kewanee, son, Jerry and Marcelina Sermon of Spanish Fort, Alabama, sisters, Elizabeth Moore of Arnold, Missouri, Faye Box of Florida, Sheila Bradley of New Madrid, brothers, Edwin Williams and Louis Williams of New Madrid, nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by, his wife Betty; and two sisters.
Services were conducted Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid.
Pallbearers: Richard Martinez, Gary Williams, Justin Keller, Landon Martinez, Joseph Williams and Samuel Williams.
